History sails into Fishermen’s Village Marina (1200 W. Retta Esplanade, Punta Gorda) later this month when replicas of Columbus’ “Pinta” and “Nina” ships dock for a few days and will be open to the public on March 29 through April 3, 2013.

In addition to the Grammys, he was honored with the 2011 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Latin Recording Academy, has recorded nearly 70 albums and has earned more than 45 gold and platinum records.
