Have ya heard the news? Seven-time Grammy and Latin Grammy Award winner Jose Feliciano will headline Latin Fest 2012 in Punta Gorda, Fla., on Saturday, Nov. 24. In addition to the Grammys, he was honored with the 2011 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Latin Recording Academy, has recorded nearly 70 albums and has earned more than 45 gold and platinum records.

Latin Fest 2012 is part of Edison State College’s 50th anniversary celebration. The event will take place outdoors (26300 Airport Road, Punta Gorda, Fla.) and the park will open at 5 p.m. with the opening act Sol Caribe, an energizing salsa band, at 6 p.m.
Mr. Feliciano will take to the stage around make his way to the stage shortly after 7 p.m.
